I was approached by Skinny Macho on behalf of Bone Soda, a UK-based music and fashion label, to help produce a promotional video for their upcoming mixtape release with Toro y Moi.

The concept was loose but rooted in the grotesque. After some initial concepting we landed on making a compilation video of sorts; elaborating on the album art (below) which depicts operating dentists from inside the patient’s mouth. Combining extreme-closeups of warping mouths created with Machine Learning, absurd and disturbing found footage, and datamosh glitches, I was able to make a promo that elicited the desired visceral reaction… Not for the faint of heart.
